Organizers of the upcoming block on Willow Street, between Navasota and Comal, have extended a special invitation for those of us living in Holly. Similar to the epic block parties these folks organized on Willow last year, a large pot-luck meal will be shared family-style on a table extending down the middle of the closed street. People will begin gathering at 1, and are asked to arrive by 3 to sit down together. At 5 p.m. a group photo will be followed by s’mores and firepits. People are asked to RSVP for an accurate count for rentals, bring a dish, and consider a donation.
